Forced Rest is Sometimes Essential

Forced Rest is sometimes essential.

It slows us down so much and forces us to look at things from a more simplified perspective.

Recently I had one of those forced rests where I had a migraine and was nauseous for 2 days. I had wanted to do so much and to work on so much that I was overthinking, you guessed it, so much that my body decided it was time to slow down.

In those slow moments, I am realizing what is important and what I really want to do with my life. My legacy, if you will on this planet, and maybe in my home country.

I do have people-pleasing and overworking themes in my life that I am currently working through and dispelling so that I can create a new way to work in this life that is more fulfilling.

Learning to monetize my strengths and life’s themes, letting go of my imposter syndrome, and knowing in my heart that this is exactly what I need for my life as a whole.

And that is the joy of forced rest.
