Joy In The Winter

Seasonal changes can mean quite a lot for different people.

Because, it's a lot easier to find those joyful moments in the spring and the summer and the fall.

But what about winter? Are there parts of that season that are considered joyful?

The answer is yes.

But that also depends on what you personally find Joyful.

If you are a lover of winter sports like skiing or figure skating, then I would believe that you would be absolutely elated.

On the other end of the spectrum, I would believe that you would find joy in a hot cup of cocoa, a good book or any indoor activity where you are creating something, either for yourself or for others.

The bigger joys of the season, have a lot to do with family gatherings if that is something that you do. Or if you have chosen family then it would be like meeting up with your best friends for the first time in a few months.

The smaller joys, are seeing how the light changes within the season, or your reflection in a Christmas bauble, or any music that is there to get you up on your feet and just go ham.

Seasonal affectiveness disorder is a very real thing, and I know it happens every year for a lot of different people, so I hope that this little post can help you discover or ReDiscover any kinds of joys that you can experience during this time.

Much ❤️
